PARIS, July 26 (Xinhua) -- Sajjad Ghanim Sehen Sehen of Iraq has become the first athlete to fail a doping test at the Paris Olympic Games【XC-1287】TABOO 明日香, the International Testing Agency (ITA) said here on Friday.
The ITA said the Iraqi judoka tested positive for anabolic steroids Metandienone and Boldenone after a sample was collected during an out-of-competition anti-doping control on Tuesday.
偷拍自拍视频"The athlete has been informed of the case and has been provisionally suspended until the resolution of the matter in line with the World Anti-Doping Code and the IOC Anti-Doping Rules applicable to the Olympic Games Paris 2024," said the ITA.
The International Olympic Committee has delegated anti-doping responsibilities to the ITA, who will be responsible for testing during the Games. ■
